Edit Primary User Parental Control Preferences

1. Press STB button
2. Press Menu button
3. Highlight Settings/Press OK
4. Enter the PIN
5. Highlight OK/Press OK
6. Highlight Preferences Tab/Press OK
7. Highlight Edit to the right of Parental Control
8. A new screen appears with Options.  To choose Option, highlight/Press OK
         Options are as follows:
         a.  Movie Rating- This blocks any movies that have a rating that you would like to block.  See Move Ratings
             To edit:
               i.  Highlight the box/Press OK
               ii. White arrows will appear to the sides of the box, then use left/right arrows to select the minimum rating to be
                   blocked/Press OK.
                   Note:  The rating chosen and any higher rating will be blocked when selected.
         b.  TV Rating-  This blocks any TV listings that have a rating that the user would like to block.  See TV Ratings
               To edit:
                i.  Highlight the box/Press OK
                ii. White arrows will appear to the sides of the box, then use left/right arrows to select the minimum rating to be
                    blocked/Press OK.
                    Note:  The rating chosen and any higher rating will be blocked when selected.
         c. Unlock Timeout-  This is the amount of time that the Parental Controls will remain unlocked (if unlocked).
                    Note:  When the Parental Controls are enabled, Parental Controls On/Off will be another menu option on the
                                Primary User account, which allows the Parental Controls to be unlocked for a set amount of time.
         d.  Content Rating Boxes-  These are further ratings that can be blocked on programming.
               To edit:
                i.  Highlight the box(es) you want to be blocked/Press OK to make a check mark appear.
         e.  Block Unrated-  This blocks any programming that is unrated.
               To edit:
                i.  Highlight the box to the left of Block Unrated/Press OK to make a check mark appear.
                    Note:  Keep in mind news programming is usually unrated.
         f.  Show Blocked Program Info-  When enabled, this lets the blocked programming be seen in the Guide.
               To edit:
                i.  Highlight the box to the left of Show Blocked Program Info/Press OK to make a check mark appear.
9. After editing your Options, highlight Submit/Press OK
10. New box appears/Press OK
